What should I bring with me?:
We recommend that you bring a towel and sunscreen.
What happens if it rains?
MarineLand Tours usually operates in light rain and other moderate weather conditions. Vehicle and Vessels are covered but you should dress appropriately for the day's weather. Rain in this area usually passes through fast and sometimes it can be raining in one place and sunny in another. So if the forecast calls for rain, it probably won't affect the tour. In the rare event that a tour is canceled due to weather, we will allow you to reschedule your tour subject to availability, or receive a full refund.
Is there a bathroom on the Vessels?
Yes we do have a one bathroom onboard the Hydra Terra Amphibious Bus and Two Bathrooms on the Cayman Explorer Vessel and 2 bathrooms on the Reef Ranger Luxury Yacht.
What time do tours go out?
Tours will operate daily. Please contact us for availability of tours on your preferred date. Schedules are subject to change without prior notice and are subject to the required minimums to be able to operate the tour.
Can I bring food or drinks with me on the tour?
You may bring snacks and drinks aboard Marineland Tours,
Do you offer refunds?
Any cancellations or rescheduling requests made prior to 24 hours of the scheduled activity time will not be charged any penalty fees. Any cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of scheduled activity time will be charged full price of scheduled activity. Guests who do not show up will be charged full price. Departure points are subject to change, dependent on weather. Bookings cancelled due to weather, acts of God or circumstances beyond the control of MarineLand Tours will be rescheduled or are subject to a full refund.
Can I go on this tour if I am pregnant?
We ask that you use your discretion if you're in the later portion of your pregnancy.
How long does the tour last?
The Hydra Terra Amphibious Bus tour normally lasts about 2 hours. The Deluxe Stingray City Tour lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes. The Private Luxury Yacht Charter Adventure has a minimum requirement for 3 hours.
We are open to discuss other options in reagrds to chartering any of our vessels - please contact us with your request and we will do our best to make it happen.
Is the vehicle wheelchair accessible?
Currently on the Hydra Terra Amphibious Bus, there is not a ramp available but reasonable care will be taken to accommodate individuals in wheelchairs. There are about 6 steps to climb to board the vehicle. Please advise upon reservation. We are not able to store the wheelchair on board the Bus.
The Cayman Explorer vessel is accessible by wheel chair with minimum required assistance. Please contact us ahead of time if you are in a wheelchair.
The Private Luxury Yacht does not have a ramp available but reasonable care will be taken to accommodate individuals in wheelchairs if possible.
Our Unique Trolley Buses have a handicap lift capable of lifting guests in a wheelchair however, we arelimited on the amount of persons in a wheelchair we can carry.
Is it appropriate to give Captain and Tour Guides a gratuity?
Gratuities are certainly appreciated for a job well done at the discretion of the guest.
What should you wear?
Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day of the tour. Bring swim wear, sunscreen and a towel.
Is the vehicle equipped with life preservers?
Yes, both adult and child life preservers are available on board all vessels at all times. Snorkeling vests are also available on all vessels.
Can we bring a video camera?
Absolutely! You will see some of the best scenery in Grand Cayman. So, don’t forget your camera bag.
